The harsh winter has passed and given way to a mild spring. The north remains frigid and cold and the south remains starved of water, but the extreme temperatures and storms are slowly beginning to subside. Vegetation is beginning to grow where once it was too cold, and the rains are returning to the deserts previously plagued with wintry drought.

The clearest face of the mountain offers much that the rest does not. It is a grand home for many species of prey, with its gently sloping sides and intermediate terrain which many do not find difficult to traverse. Dotted with trees, grass, and rock the Slope is one of the richest sources of life that Isfera has to offer. Concealed at the foot of the mountain, at the end of a treacherous path that is often destroyed by rock slides, is the opening to The Catacombs. Deep into the mountain they bore, forged at the same time as the mountain itself. An eerie sensation dominates from within, the ultimate test of the mind. Stalactites form along the ceiling and drip with mineral water. Occasionally the tunnels open up and reveal underground treasures such as rivers, gems, or shrines. It is rare to find any other sizeable life within.

The ghostly lands of Blacktooth Pass are rumored to be haunted. Eternally graced by chilled winds which come down from the summit of Mount Ionax. The brittle snow beneath crunches and threatens to give way to avalanche, precariously perched between two high peaks of the mountain as a fragile valley. It is a cauldron of paranoia and instability, proving more than just a test of wits. The level of concealment and its location leave it perpetually in shadow, offering only a dim glow to anyone passing through.
