march, y1 (spring)
The harsh winter has passed and given way to a mild spring. The north remains frigid and cold and the south remains starved of water, but the extreme temperatures and storms are slowly beginning to subside. Vegetation is beginning to grow where once it was too cold, and the rains are returning to the deserts previously plagued with wintry drought.

@Morana

Spring had since arrived, yet still the temperature in the north was understandably bitter. Though not nearly as harsh as Winter's icy claws.
A dark beast trudged through the white scape, sticking out like a sore thumb. The difference was not just in her pelt but also her build. Her kind were not of the north lands. Though that was true, it was also false. The woman's father had been birthed within this harsh and unforgiving climate. Whilst her mother had been of the plains as she and her sister had been.

Aisha paused, toes splayed out against the cold ground. Her horned head stretched forward as nostrils flared for a scent. The lovely 'ess was on the hunt. Northern hares had been her drive up from the south. , Plains hares were of no comparison ever since her sire had brought the creatures down for his cubs.

She could say the same about the Southern kingdoms and the heat from the sun, and though she knew Danica wasn't strong but the heat from the sun wasn't kind to Morana's inky pelt. And with the extra fluff that came with her kind, it was extra cruel to her. So she stuck close to her snow and ice and the bitter winds of the cold lands she called her home. Even now she ventured from the warmth of her den and towards the Glacial Isle. It was one of the few places she could go to get something to drink or see if there is other creatures about. However, she did not expect to see a woman here. Ears twitching as Morana would move closer, sticking to the edges of the water as she kept her head low and between her shoulder blades. She didn't like strangers being so close to her cliffs. Of course, she had not claimed anything outside of the Rocky Point, it still didn't matter. This woman was rather close to her territory. Violet eyes went bright for a split second as her magic tickled through her toes and a rock half her size and weight would tumble downwards. Tumbling into the pool that ended at the bottom of the Isle. Morana was just letting this female know that she was here without even speaking a word to her. Morana was not one for words and kept to the silence as her friend, how would this woman react?
